GACP Certification

The Control Union Medical Cannabis Standard (CUMCS) is a global certification standard for medicinal cannabis. The standard requires strict quality control measures to ensure quality and consistency during cultivation, processing, storage, and distribution of cannabis intended for medical use. There is an overlap with EU GMP in that this standard also includes trimming, drying, and packaging of bulk cannabis.

We guide our clients through the entire application process with CUMCS including the initial application, CUMCS inspection/audit & the final certification phase. The focus of the certification will be your company’s Quality Management System (QMS). GMP Global will provide a full review of your QMS with a list of required corrective actions to be fully compliant with the CUMCS. We also offer a pre-audit to make sure your facility is in a state of readiness for the initial CUMCS inspection/audit.
